And it's not like I really am that obsessed with Fridays!!! But I'm kinda ready for the weekend already.
Hubby is going through such a rough time, and it's hard for me not to just rag him & chant ''neener neener'' and be a proper bitch. I mean who did he think he was kidding when he denied partaking of that special herbal refreshment? and now he's having a devil of a time getting his *number* down to acceptible limits, as he was not the casual user he kept maintaining (although *i* knew better), and was a real chronic. From what i've read, it could take as long as 6 weeks for his system to be free of it. The real upside is that he's finally seen what a hold it has had on him and that he really needed it out of his life. Yipee!!
But i gotta tell you, this whole leading through submission really stinks sometimes! How much easier it would be to just tell him, what he needs to do! It's frustrating and hard to help him find his own way, when i see the proper path so clearly *laughing*, as i'm sure he does with me!
The battle to control my binging continues. On the day to day, i'm winning, but it's hard with each stumble to get back up. Why can't i be hooked on something i can live without like alcohol or gambling? Why do i have to be addicted to the beast that i have to learn how to ride??
Such is life.
love, me
